HOW THIS WORKS

• A challenge has been laid out: can you or can you not eat a raw onion like an apple?


• Zinnia has obtained about $20 worth of onions from the grocery store because... why not.


• Sophomores only, sorry! Upperclassmen can react but cannot compete. Zinnia's not sharing her onions with you.

Marina might generally be more money conscious than her brother, but she doesn't spend any time in grocery stores (What? Do you think she cooks?) and has absolutely no concept how much an onion costs either. As the ridiculous contest keeps escalating, Marina remains absurdly overconfident that she can best whatever challenge her brother and the rest of the sophomore class can throw at her.

Before the challenge starts, she sends Kyra a quick text message ("😽💋🍥") that she's convinced is both mysterious and alluring enough to entice the other girl to find her. This canoodleship is probably going to be short lived.

Love of Raw Onions: 4, onions are a pretty standard flavor in things she'd consider comfort food, and raw onions have a nice cronch. But, like, it's also a fuckin raw onion.
Stomach Strength: 5, all of my children have iron stomachs are you kidding me.
Determination: 2, Hamsi has never given her all in her life.
Motivation: The lightest, gentlest touch of peer pressure.

Name: Marzio Sarno
Love of Raw Onions: 1. He specifically dared Marina to do this so HE wouldn't have to.
Stomach Strength: 3. He's a soft, pampered child, but he's also a teenage boy and the youngest child so he's either wilfully or forcibly eaten way worse.
Determination: 4 but only because he would like to beat Marina.
Motivation: Because twins are bad.
Anything else?: None of these sophs are ever kissing anyone again after this.

ONIONS for MARINA

Love of Raw Onions: 3. She doesn't have a strong feeling on them one way or another.
Stomach Strength: 2. She was raised on high quality foods and is honestly on the bland, picky eater side and particularly dislikes spicy foods, so. She's not a completely weak constitution, but she's no human garbage can.
Determination: 5. She's convinced she can eat ALL the onions, simply because she said she can.
Motivation: Marzio says "Dare you.." and Marina shouts "OF COURSE I CAN" before he can finish his sentence.
Anything else?: She is absolutely making sure Kyra is watching this grand act of stupidity before biting into this onion.

Stomach Strength: 5. She was weaned on corndogs and cotton candy.

Motivation: Someone called this a competition, which is Tal's siren song.

Neal walks onto the scene after some freshmen told him the sophomores were breaking rules with onions. This is not what he'd expected.

"Well, it's not... technically against the rules," he admits with a painted on smile. His eyes are starting to water from the overwhelming odor of half-eaten onions. "But maybe... don't next time? Please don't."

One of my brothers and his baby daughter could dominate this contest ps they both used to steal onions for snacks

If your character would like to try and push past their limits, I will give them another roll that could earn an extra 1-3 onions consumed. However, there is a 50% chance of them throwing up, which will disqualify them. Do they attempt it?
