There're still some donuts left on the first floor of the dorms. And the slide ramps haven't quite fallen apart yet, if anyone still wants a go. It's fun. Safe. Squishy, mostly.
[Squad 12]Hey I was Is everyone Let's talk dfjkhad
Yesterday was ugly. The thought of hurting one of you is basically my biggest nightmare, but that's what we're facing, now. Last night I couldn't sl did as much reading as I could and tried to come up with some constructive thoughts: - Athletics Club is switching up its calendar. They'll be doing self-defense and first aid training. I encourage everyone to attend these sessions, even if you aren't a member of the club.
- I want to get with each of you one-on-one to go over some basic dodging and non-lethal self-defense kicks. Even you, Marina. We don't know what could happen to a bewitched Support. We're all combat trained, but I feel like there're some specific techniques we can zero in on. A smart attacker trying to get into your space is going to be deterred by the threat of a solid kick to the chest. A stupid attacker is absolutely going to be deterred by a solid kick to the chest.
- We still don't know much, but it seems like it took a moment for the "charming" effect to kick in on those who were hit with it. I propose we come up with a safe word - something short that you can shout if you can at all sense that you're being targeted by [...] whatever that is. It can be something as dumb as 'Pickle'. Just [...] even if we have a few seconds notice, that could make all the difference.
- I wouldn't expect anything less from any of you, but remember to be understanding both to those who were injured by squadmates and the squadmates who were bewitched. They've been through something awful.
- No matter what, we'll get through this.
