Hi everyone. I hope you’re doing alright. These rifts are scary and I wish Mr. Gladstone wasn’t sick [...] but that’s okay! Everyone wrote really wonderful things in my Nice Shadow Post box and I wanted to share them with you. Sorry if I made any mistakes copying what you wrote. You all have great, legible handwriting, I just make mistakes sometime. No one is perfect!

We’re all lucky to have Nora Lee. She’s got an indomitable spirit and I always wish I could be more like her.

Monet Romilly is the most elegant girl in the school.

Noah Dressler is so funny and insightful. I must admit I’m a bit jealous of his closest friends, getting the chance to talk to him in serious moments.

Neal Valentine is a constant inspiration. If only I could be half as steadfast as he is.

Marty Geary has a knack for making you feel like anything’s possible, like you can handle whatever comes your way, and when he smiles—really smiles—it’s like the sun is rising just to see you.

I am so glad I’ve gotten to know CC Day. She’s such a calming force.

Venus Rosales is brilliantly creative and funny. I’m so glad to have had the chance to spend time with her.

I sincerely hope that Richie Roth gets to eat everything he wants in life. He deserves that much.

Selby Denman’s gentle presence is a welcome distraction from the hardships we face.

Hadlee Loxton has a knack for making me enjoy doing things for her. I think this means she really is a queen.

Eva Crawford might be the funniest person at this school.

Kyra Wilkie has this amazing subtle poise and quiet sense of humor. Meeting her, getting to know her, has been a gift. I couldn’t do this without her.

Shiloh Sadler has come so far in these last few months. He’s stronger than he knows.

I am as delightfully intimidated by Cecilia Blackwell’s wit and sense of humor as her skill on the battlefield. She is a force to be reckoned with.

Gregory de Leon is a joy, and we should all aspire to his levels of openness and compassion.

I couldn't do this without Monet.

My roommates are Suzy and Blake and they're better than your roommates.

I bet Adam would be good at laundry if he tried. Because he's good at everything he does.
