Donovan's become accustomed to a lot of things since coming to Finchwood Academy and he likes to think that his nerves are at least somewhat steely, but he's unprepared for the sudden realization that he's no longer alone. He jumps at the sound of Cecilia's indignant voice and is visibly startled as he turns toward her, only to find the girl leaning into his space. He registers the accusation and squares his shoulders stubbornly, though it does take him a beat to decide between denial and acknowledgment.
"So?" he returns flippantly, "You've been ignoring me all night."
