"Oh, she's clever. Observant." Liam nods, tapping his pointer finger against his chin as he considers their target. Then, assessment done he steers the both of them toward the nearest photo op. Doing these sorts of things sometimes feels a bit performative, but the weird edges of it get sanded down when Liam spends any amount of time thinking about how much he likes commemorating the normal parts of this decidedly abnormal high school experience with Kyra.
Still, as Liam fumbles for his phone he talks about hunting for a fake murder mystery game in the same way he talks Shadow strategy. So even the 'normal' parts sit a little weird. "We'll have to go for a distract and ambush. It'll be a fun challenge." A pause, holding up his phone, he jokes, "now, you want the puppy filter applied to this, right?"
