Hamsi had been picturing a shawl caught on a door handle or a hair clip dramatically falling in slow motion to the floor, landing with a bounce and one of those loud slow-mo click-clanks. But, blood and viscera is evocative, too. Hamsi can get behind this theory, and the look on her face seems more appropriate for an enthralled moviegoer than a detective's assistant.
She shoves the straw in her mouth and starts to chew on it, drink half-forgotten. "An angry criminal mastermind. We're in dangerous territory here, now, Gregory. Do you have any requests in case we don't make it?"
