SQUAD 2 BONDING

HOW THIS WORKS

• Marty has called the first official Squad 2 meeting. They will be meeting by the rusty cars at 8. Time to bond, suckers!


• Like a good Squad Mom, Marty has brought a modest amount of alcohol to share, though the others are welcome to contribute too if they want.


• Marty plans to play Truth or Shot or Slap, but he's open to other activities.

» DRINKING GAMES: How else could they possibly bond?? Truth Shot or Slap is on the table, but open to others.

Truth or Shot or Slap

Marty flashes a smile around at his new squad. It's not what he would have chosen, but he's not going to admit that. "We're going to be doing a lot of hard work together, so I thought we should have some fun together first, get to know each other a little. The name of the game is Truth or Shot or Slap. Someone can ask you a question, and you've either got to answer honestly, or, if you decide you don't want to, you can take a drink or let them slap you to pass." He holds up a small bottle of cheap whiskey.

"I'll even go first," he announces generously, "Someone start us off and ask me something."

Noah grins. "How did you lose your finger?"

Coming up with questions to ask people he knows next to nothing about should be easy but it leaves Dallas not knowing where to start. He decides to just ask the first thing that comes into his mind. "What's the worst thing you ever got caught doing?" This guy's got to have some stories, right?

Martin

"Who's the most random person you've ever had a sex dream about?" Lucy wonders, in the midst of re-tying a combat boot.

Noah

[strikings]

Noah brought along a shampoo bottle and a set of six travel shot glasses. The bottle, of course, is actually filled with vodka. Don't worry, he cleaned it out thoroughly first!

"Ask me anything," he declares as he passes out the shot glasses to everyone.

Noah

"Aight, so. Who would you least want to kiss this year?" Marty asks.

Noah

Lucy ponders, tapping her fingernails against her glass. "If you had to switch bodies with one of your roommates, who would it be?"

"Forever," she adds a beat later.

"You brought these to school?" Dustin asks, accepting the offering. He's not judging, but it would never have occurred to him, and even if it had, he's unlikely to have indulged the impulse.

He lets the little cup, still empty for now, sit in his palm, then rolls it idly between his fingers. "Are they special or just... shot glasses?"

Dallas

While Dallas has known all day that he's the youngest member of his squad, this realization doesn't fully hit him until they're all circling up to play a drinking game. He's never played a drinking game and the few times he's had alcohol he's wanted to spit out most of it. But. He's not about to admit any of that, so he joins the others without complaint.

This isn't anything he can't handle.

Dallas

"What would you do if you couldn't dance?" Marty asks. It's a softball question. He's not usually one to take it easy on anyone, but Dallas is the youngest of them, and he doesn't want him immediately puking his guts out either.

Dallas

"Dallas," Lucy hails in a murmur, considering her options. She smiles. "Is there anyone at school you're jealous of?"

She takes a thoughtful drink, amending: "Preferably irrationally."

"What do you really think of working with a squad?" Noah is leaning back in the seat of one of the cars, looking tipsy and unconcerned, but there's a spark of curiosity as he glances at Dallas, like maybe he's wondering if Dallas is capable of saying something interesting.

Lucy

Lucy is present, regarding the game with a Sphinx-like little smile on her face. No one here knows too much about her, she's sure, except that she probably won't tell them the truth about much. She intends to keep it that way for now.

Dustin

People usually expect Dustin to be excessively prudish at parties, but he's actually pretty well-suited to this game. All he asks is that things don't get too out of hand... and you kids would never let something like that happen, right?
