everyone don't forget to nominate me and my girlfriend hadlee for prom princesses because we're really super cute and we deserve it

now that the musical's over i can devote all my time and energy to planning prom. does anyone have theme ideas?? i was thinking like murder on the finchwood express or maybe, like, space? with aliens?

I like the first one. The aesthetics are easier to incorporate into a dance and could be pretty striking. And if people want to lean into period fashion they can without looking ridiculous. [...] Well. Mostly.

my dress is not era appropriate

I didn't say it needed to be. But I'd rather someone show up in gown and a fur than a spacesuit if they feel so inclined.

Agreed. After seeing the work they did for the musical, we probably could make some kind of train for prom.

ohhhh it would be such a cool set, the different cars could have different activities and the dance floor could be like the train station

I like that. And I can't speak for everyone on crew, but I'm up for building a train.

You could use a fog machine to make it look like a steam engine~
