Scout feels a little dizzy from standing up so quickly, so bracing on Flint is nice. Of course, it's just nice to just be close, too, so he keeps his fingers curled around his friend's wrist, though his grip is loose now that he's not worried he's going to leave.
He actually closes his eyes for a moment, trying to rebalance himself and calm the sudden burst of panic that had jolted him up in the first place, listening to Flint speak. When his eyes open, he feels a little better. Almost reflexively, he lets out a little laugh too.
"You...?" A pause, as he more fully processes Flint's words, turns them over in his head as best he can right now. "Well I'd... probably spend most of my time with you, if I could, because..." He's hesitant to finish the sentence, and glances off instead.
